Training methods I used to max

This guide will detail the best methods to bot every skill in OSRS the safest and best way without bans. Still working in 2026!

Agility

• Rooftop agility courses

The rooftop agility plugin highlights the next obstacle with a colored dot, randomises clicks/delays, and handles marks of grace + fall recovery back to the start. It supports all rooftop courses (including Colossal Wyrm) and can eat food / boost with summer pies during long laps.

Agility is the highest ban rate skill and should always be done in short sessions of 1-3 hours. Early levels should be quested and then trained inbetween other skills.

Recommended route is 1-99 doing the highest agility course available using the Auto agility plugin.

Alternatively use the Macro recorder on the Colossal Wyrm Agility course or rooftops that you won't fail on.

Combat

• Gemstone crab
• NMZ
• Pest control

Combat is easy enough as there are plenty of AFK methods to train.

AFK combat training e.g. Sand/Rock/Ammonite crabs, cannoning with the Macro Recorder/AHK Skiller

Early levels can be done at Sand crabs using the Macro recorder. Recommended to unlock Ammonite crabs or use the Sand crab spots in Varlamore.

Mark the tile to AFK on with a color and use the color click feature to realign the character after recording moving away from the spot.

Unlocking the Void knight outfit is beneficial for combat exp as well as looking less like a bot.

Cannoning can be done AFK using the AHK cannon refill script, or use the Macro recorder to multi-skill while cannoning

Construction

• Phials construction at Rimmington

Macro Recorder is best here because it can do intelligent color clicks (no misclicks) plus randomised click locations/delays to keep recordings looking human. For Phials, color-tag Phials + portal + build spot so the playback “locks on” even if the camera or character shifts slightly.

All construction methods in the POH are possible with the Macro recorder

Method by unnoting at Phials

Tag Phials, the entry/exit Portal and the building spot with 4 different colors.

Use the color clicking of the Macro recorder to click each object without missing.

Cooking

• Fish to 35
• Wines to 99

All cooking methods are possible with the Macro recorder

Use the best cooking spots you have available e.g. Rogues den, Myths Guild, Hosidius kitchen when cooking fish.

Once level 35 you can begin bank standing with wines. Make sure to leave enough time for the exp to drop as levelling so your cooking level increases and reduces fail rate.

The AHK Skiller supports wines and Lunar bake pie spell as well.

Crafting

• Glassblowing
• Cutting gems
• Lunar spells

These are all low-risk bankstanding loops: Macro Recorder can randomise every click + delay and store multiple recordings to replay in varied order. Lunar spell crafting (e.g. String Jewellery / Superglass Make) also pairs well with multi-skilling Magic while still keeping the inputs simple and consistent.

Crafting is extremely useful to max early for an unlimited teleport to a bank.

Bankstanding skills are the least likely to misclick and is what I would recommend. Crafting at a furnace is good for profit depending on prices.

Unlocking Lunar spells for String Jewellery, Spin flax and Superglass make are good for multiskilling magic.

Farming

• Mostly manual tree runs
• Tithe farm

Tithe Farm is a solo-instanced minigame (less interruption) and the plugin handles the planting/watering/harvest loop, including refilling cans and supporting all seed tiers. Use the highest seeds you can, bring lots of watering cans (or Gricoller's), and focus on full 100-fruit sacks for the best XP/points pace.

With great difficulty you can automate limited tree runs with the Macro Recorder, however personally was not worth the effort as Farming is fast as it is.

Firemaking

• Campfires
• Wintertodt

Making campfires is easy to bankstand using the Macro recorder. It's also possible to macro record lines of fires, however can be unreliable.

The Auto Wintertodt plugin handles the full Wintertodt loop, including chopping, fletching, repairing and lighting the brazier.

Fishing

• Any fishing spot
• Karambwans
• Fishing spots that don't move
• Minnows
• Aerial fishing
• Sacred/Infernal eels

There are 3 spots that do not move, Karambwans, Cave eels near Fairy Ring AJQ and south of Prifddinas. These are easy to Macro record without fail and can be done to 99.

Minnows can also be done by tagging one spot with color and using the Macro recorder color clicking, however this is not advised for long periods due to high ban rates.

Alternatively, you can use the Auto Power training Plugins for any other spot to vary it up.

Fletching

• Darts/bolts for early levels
• Bows to 99 (Macro recorder)
• Bows to 99 (AHK Skiller)

All fletching methods are possible with the Macro recorder. If spamming darts, keep the sessions short.

Herblore

• Potions (Macro recorder)
• Potions (AHK Skiller)
• Degrime spell
• Auto Mastering Mixology plugin

Macro record best potions you can make or cast Degrime for multi skilling with magic.

Cleaning herbs by clicking is not recommended long term as it is extremely click intensive with minimal profit.

At higher levels, use the Auto Mastering Mixology plugin for important unlocks

Hunter

• Butterflies
• Crab trapping plugin
• Auto Herbiboar plugin
• Aerial fishing plugin

Early levels can be done by tagging a butterfly and using a color clicking AHK script.

The most reliable method is Crab Trapping for fast experience rates starting at level 21.

Herbiboar is good for breaking up the training methods and for pet hunting at level 80 hunter.

For combined fishing/hunter training and another way to get the Angler outfit, Aerial fishing.

Magic

• Teleport spam
• High alchemy
• Lunar spells

Macro Recorder is ideal for Magic power training because it can randomise every click and delay, and you can store multiple recordings to play back in varied order. Once you unlock Lunar, you can multi-skill via utility spells (String Jewellery / Humidify / Bake Pie, etc.) instead of pure alch/tele spam.

Mining

• Power train iron
• Calcified rocks
• Sandstone mining (Bandit Camp Quarry)
• Amethyst mining (supports banking, no chiselling)
• Auto Motherlode Mine plugin (bottom floor only)

Power training mining is easy enough with the macro recorder. Recommended to power mine in the Mining guild, by having a stack of unidentified minerals and not dropping that slot, you can unlock the Mining gloves.

For a more AFK method, tagging the calcified rocks and using color clicking also works. Unlocking the Prifddinas mine also gives an easy way to bank ores, reducing clicks as you no longer need to drop.

Auto Motherlode Mine plugin is useful for unlocking the Propsector's outfit for the Falador diary as well as the coal bag.

Prayer

• Unnoting with Phials
• Demonic offering
• Gilded altar plugin

The Gilded Altar plugin automates a bank → Phials → POH → altar loop, supports all bone types, and is one of the fastest ways to train high Prayer levels.

Runecraft

• Auto GOTR plugin

The GOTR plugin overlays what to click for Guardians of the Rift (and Zeah blood runes), with fully randomised click timing and an AFK-leaning approach up to ~40k XP/hr. You’ll need Temple of the Eye done for GOTR, and 77 Runecraft for Zeah bloods (high Agility strongly helps lap speed).

Smithing

• Dart tips
• Anvil smithing plugin
• Blast Furnace plugin

Anvil smithing is a classic, the plugin supports all bars/items with randomised clicks and works anywhere with a nearby bank (Varrock/Prif/Keldagrim). Blast Furnace is the fast method (coal bag + 60 Smithing to avoid the fee) and the plugin handles the full conveyor/collect loop.

Thieving

• Stalls (Macro recorder)
• Stalls (AHK Skiller)
• Auto Ardougne Knight plugin
• Ardougne bank splashing setup (jugs of wine)

Macro Recorder/Skiller handle early stall loops well, but the Ardougne Knight plugin is the long-run method: randomised click timing, coin-pouch handling, and banking/drinking jugs of wine. It’s built for the south Ardougne bank “splasher” worlds and shines from 55+ Thieving (Medium Ardy diary strongly helps success rate).

Woodcutting

• Any tree
• Woodcutting Guild (banks logs, log basket)

Skiller plugin is the power-chop option (select target trees + drop list, then follow the overlay), while Woodcutting Guild is the safe long-session spot with banking and log-basket support. The guild needs 60 Woodcutting (boostable) and has yew/magic/redwood options, plus simple transport like skills necklace for quick resets.
